Benjamin Westhoff and Peter Westhoff obtained a jury verdict in favor of Loretta Bryan in her wrongful termination case against the City of Beverly Hills and its Chief Alderperson. Following a week-long trial, the jury awarded Ms. Bryan $43,600.00 in compensatory and punitive damages. The defendants apologized for their misconduct in firing Ms. Bryan for complaining about discrimination during the punitive damages stage of the trial. Following the jury verdict, the Court awarded Ms. Bryan $60,000.00 in attorneys’ fees.
